To Future Customers of CCR LLC, Remodeling & Woodworking:

We have been using CCR LLC, Remodeling & Woodworking for approximately 5 years now and have always been very satisfied. Mark has done everything from remodeling bathrooms to gutting and rehabbing a phenomenal gourmet kitchen and exquisite master bedroom suite. He has a great breadth of skills, takes pride in his work and is customer focused.

Mark has done a wide variety of jobs for us from our children’s bathroom to the gut rehab of 2,500 sq ft spanning two stories in a Ladue home built in the 1930’s. His skills are versatile and he has done excellent work both inside and out. As important, Mark also knows what he is not able to do and is not afraid to bring in an outside expert if needed. I can tell you from experience that this is refreshing as I have certainly had other contractors who have overextended their abilities.

Mark is always meticulous and has tremendous attention to detail. His work is of excellent quality and he makes sure that the job meets or exceeds your expectations. If for some reason it is not right the first time, Mark will make sure it is to your satisfaction.

Mark is also very timely. Our 2,500 sq ft gut rehab involved an architect, interior designer, multiple subcontractors and more than 10 change orders. Mark’s original time estimate was 2 months less than the next closest estimate. And he kept to it, despite the change orders.

Mark continues to do work for us and is helping us further rehab our home. I would highly recommend Mark and CCR LLC, Remodeling & Woodworking to anyone considering any remodeling project. Again, he will meet or exceed your expectations. E-mail me at herroncraig@yahoo.com and I would be happy to share more of our experiences with Mark with you!

Good luck on your project!

To Whom It May Concern:

I highly recommend Mark Richter for residential construction, renovation, and repair involving carpentry, tile work, painting, and most other relevant skills. I believe he is equally capable of commercial work too, and I know he is a sound businessman. Tile work may be his greatest talent, but he is an excellent carpenter too.

Mark worked for and with me for the best part of three years modernizing and restoring a two story, three bedroom bungalow in Clayton, Missouri, where I have been residing with my family for ten years. He was the lead craftsman on all stages of the project from ripping out many of the walls, ceilings, and floors down to the studs and joists to installing high quality cabinetry, tile work, and appliances. Major projects included: (a) creating two full and two half bathrooms from spaces previously used for several closets and one full and one half bathroom, including new cabinetry and extensive tile work in both full bathrooms; (b) creating built-in closets and window seats in two bedrooms, using the doors, frames, and trim saved from the closed that were removed to make bathrooms; (c) creating an enlarged and modern kitchen with high end cabinets, exquisite tile work, and new appliances and countertops; (d) repairing, skim coating, and priming all ceilings and walls throughout the house, and similarly renovating the ceiling and floor moldings; (e) repairing all double hung windows and replacing one entirely; (f) rebuilding the two story porch structure on the back of the home from footings to roof, creating an upper level fully insulated sun room and a lower level screened in porch; (g) installing walls, doorways, and ceilings to create a ¾ finished basement with playroom, half bath, laundry room, workshop, storerooms, and pantry; and (h) installing new trim on the garage to match the trim on the older house. Only the plumbing, painting, and refinishing of floors were subcontracted. Mark handled the rest, except the electrical work, which I handled; but I know he has that ability too. He even did a portion of the painting, including the entire sunroom/screened in porch (having spent his youth as a professional painter).

During the three years we worked together, Mark was always economical with time and materials and flexible with changes in schedules and designs. His demeanor was pleasant, and he was consistently reliable and hard working, arriving when expected and staying until the job was done. The quality of his work always met my high expectations, and he became a trusted friend.

Mark Richter has the knowledge, tools, and talent to do a superb job. I would readily hire him again. He would be my first choice for any similar work. I have referred him to other homeowners for both small and large jobs. Reportedly, they have been equally satisfied.

We have enjoyed our porch all summer and well into the fall. We have had several parties and everyone loves the space.
